July 2019 at Creative Business Cup 2019, Copenhagen:
A delegation of senior representatives from the Israeli Ministry of Economy participated in the Policy Seminar for the Development of the Creative Industries Across Regions and Governments in Copenhagen.
Among the Israeli speakers – Ms. Naama Kauffman, Vice Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Ms. Michal Fink, Director for Strategy and Policy Planning at the Ministry of Economy, who presented concrete steps that have been undertaken in the last year to bring more awareness on the Creative Industries in Israel and support this sector.
Creative leaders and European public representatives shared their best practices on funding schemes for the Creative Industries, and addressed the future of the sector.
CLEVER partners from Shenkar, Bezalel Academy of Art, Sapir college , Hadassah college and LAHAV were there as well.
This seminar was part of the Creative Business Cup Global Finals for 2019, the biggest competition in the world for creative entrepreneurs.
Israel was represented in the competition by its national winner, "Storyball", a creative start-up that developed a revolutionary smart toy for children using screen-free technology while keeping them physically active.
