Special guests and their role: Among the speakers - Sandor Szelekovszky, Head of Trade and Economic Section, Delegation of the European Union to the State of Israel; Eythan Shwartz from Tel-Aviv Municipality addressed Smart Cities; Dalia Narkis, Ex-Chair of Manpower Israel and Director of the East Mediterranean Countries elaborated on the 21st Century skills needed for the future job market; Uri Adoni, Partner at JVP brought the investor's perspective on the Cls. Key EU speakers – Ragnar Siil, Cultural Policy & Creative Industries Expert, on creative industries and their impact on the economy, society & innovation; Prof. Anne Boddington, Dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at University of Brighton who elaborated on the Design Economy in the UK; Rasmus Tscherning, Director of Creative Business Cup, Denmark and more.
The Creative Economy FSTV gathered a wide range of stakeholders from the Creative Industries (CIs) in Israel - creative practitioners, investors, public organizations representatives, entrepreneurs, students. The summit aimed at putting the spotlight on the creative sector and its impact on the economy, society, innovation, job market.
In addition to the conference on the first day, the event included also an international panel of speakers on the "design accelerator" model as opposed to other existing standard models of accelerators and ended with the national Creative Business Cup, a competition for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the creative sectors.
